![]() Yes, you can settle for cloak of the cosmos for a few DM runs, but if you want the best there is, and if you're serious about healing, you can spring for a few hundred gold. Maybe these mats are ridiculously less expensive on your server, but I seriously get sick of all the whiners who complain when I tell them that this cloak will cost them 350g. That leaves AT LEAST a cost of 303g, if you feel generous and don't want to take advantage of the fact that only a handful of ppl on your server can make this. Now, add the cost of either buying the pattern (about 500g) or running DM North 100 times to get the 1% drop, and you have at least a 25g crafting fee to add onto the mats cost. The “Manaclaw” has a slightly increased drop chance of just above 1%, so it can be worth it to only farm in the cave.Comment by ThottbotLets do a simple calculation to determine a fair price here. There is also a cave near the spot, containing many more of these dragons, and even some larger ones at the end. If you have Skinning, though, it’s a bit better, as the Dragons can be skinned for Blue Dragon scales and Rugged Leather. With drop rates of around 0.5%, it is not quite as good as the demons. The Sinew is needed for the epic Hunter Quest and can usually be sold for around 300-400g, just like the Eye of Shadow. This item drops from the blue dragon kin, marked in dark blue on the map below. On my Server, the Eye of Shadow sells for around 300-400 gold. In the meantime though, the Demons also drop Felcloth and Demonic Runes, which are quite useful, especially if you have Tailoring. With drop rates of around 1-2%, you will be there for quite some time until it drops. The initial part of the quest drops from Majordomo Executus in the Molten Core. ![]() ![]() The eye is required for the epic quest for Priests, where they can get their staff.
